POLY BIG FUN 2012
Welcome to the new home for Poly Big Fun!
Poly Big Fun or PBF is a yearly late spring retreat sponsored by the Poly Austin community. PBF is a time for us to come together as a community and celebrate. We hold multiple workshops on various relationship building topics such as effective communication, time management and relationships, multifamily households, community parenting, and more.
This year’s retreat will be held at Bastrop State Park in Bastrop, Texas
March 29th - April 1st 2012 .
Bastrop has survived through the massive fires of the summer. Our cabins are alive! A scouting mission to our campsite has reveiled that there was a big fire break that was trenched behind our cabins and they remained unharmed. The fire circle was burnt however by the time spring rolls around we should see a good portion of new undergrowth and I'm fairly certain that we will still have a beautiful event.
If you are new or even returning to PBF please take a moment and read the PBF Survival Guide. The survival guide is a basic “getting to know you” guide for the event. The survival guide explains basic stuff like what to expect, what to bring, and what to wear.
We encourage you to look around the new website. The menu for the event, schedule of workshops, and updated survival guide are up and functional. The menu is under final revision and should be finalized by the end of February (to take into consideration food preferences for pre-registrations) and the workshop schedule will be updated as Jeff receives your offers to host.
We're looking forward to a wonderful weekend in 2012.
